Our Committee is the heart of Sisters on Samui—an amazing team who organise events, run fundraisers, and lead community initiatives – in their free time. Hannah Scard-Janwet moved to Samui in 2015 to be closer to family and now lives here with her husband James and their daughter, Areeya—SOS’s youngest member! A longtime volunteer at SOS events, she recently joined the board to help shape meaningful experiences for the SOS community and bring people together across the island.
Nicky Hood has lived on Samui for over 20 years with her husband and their beloved dogs. By day, she manages private luxury villas—but she’s also a vital part of the SOS team, handling our accounts, financial reporting, and Marketplace operations. Her steady support keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes at SOS.
Natalie Kamolwattanasoontorn (Nat K) is supporting SOS with the Community role, bringing four years of committee experience and a deep connection to the Samui community. Having lived on the island for many years, her kindness and genuine care for others shine through in everything she does.
Sandy Cacchione is supporting SOS with Partnerships, bringing long-standing Samui connections and experience to the role. She knows SOS well, bringing two years of committee experience and has helped to build strong community partnerships over the years.

Sandy Cacchione, originally from Switzerland, has called Samui home since 2016, after five years on Koh Tao. She lives here with her husband, daughter, and mum. A former SOS Treasurer (2020–2022), Sandy is the founder of mate.travel, a website and app that helps people explore Samui. She’s proud to return as an SOS Ambassador, giving back to the community she loves.

Khun Wan has been managing Marketplace by SOS since 2022, making everything run smoothly in our little shop with a big heart. From sorting donations to welcoming customers, she brings care and kindness to all she does. We’re also proud of her daughter, Nong Ida—a bright, sporty young woman who inspires us all!
