Sisters on Samui friend, InterContinental Koh Samui Resort, is getting ready to grant wishes to the children of Wat Khiri Wongkaram Primary School, located in Taling Nam, and to donate proceeds of the sale of handmade Elephant friends to Sisters on Samui.
For the 2024 festive season, the Resort has curated 1,000 handmade Elephants from Northern Thailand. These will be used to create a magical Christmas Tree. Each elephant can be adopted.
A large one for THB 2,000 will grant the wish of one of the 85 children at the school, and smaller elephants for THB 500 sold will contribute to a donation to Sisters on Samui. Any Elephants left over will be given to children on Children’s Day at the annual event at Koh Samui Naval Support Base in Lipa Noi, held around 10–12 January 2025.
