There’s always something happening at Marketplace, from new donations and shop finds to little initiatives, events and the people who help make it all happen.

Our generous community kept the donations coming in, with 175 bags of clothes and other goodies making their way to Marketplace in July and August. A huge thank you to everyone who donated — and to the team for sorting, pricing and getting everything ready for the shelves!
- July: 30 small bags + 60 big bags
- August: 25 small bags + 60 big bags
All those donations helped keep the shop busy, with
- THB 99,705 in sales in July
- THB 103,570 in sales in August

Meet Khun Ann: If you’re passing by Marketplace, say hello to Khun Ann, who has recently joined our shop team.
Originally from Koh Samui, Ann is enjoying the new experiences and meeting all our friendly supporters.
Her insider Samui tip? Head to Pink Pig in Taling Ngam for a good southern style Thai meal!
She’s looking forward to welcoming you to our little shop with a big heart.
Whether you’re new to Samui or have been here for years, it’s always nice to meet some new people, catch up with familiar faces and take some time out to relax.
Coffee ‘n Chat is a relaxed afternoon at Marketplace by SOS. A chance to have a cuppa, enjoy a little treat and find out more about Sisters on Samui.
Swap ’n Style happens at the same time. Bring up to 5 gently loved items from your wardrobe and browse the shop for some new-to-you finds. A little thrifting, a little upcycling and a good excuse to have a chat!
We meet every month, usually on the last Friday of the month. If you can’t make this one, there’s always next time.

Warm Clothes, Big Hearts. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Marketplace by SOS sent three boxes of warm winter clothes to a school in Chiang Mai in September. The donations will help keep 27 children and one teacher warm as the weather cools down.
When you donate your pre-loved items to our little shop with a big heart, this is where some of that generosity goes — helping people who need it, both on Samui and beyond.
