The SOS Education Program will assist kids of families who struggle with the financing of uniforms, shoes and equipment – what’s needed to gain their children’s entry to school.
Over the past 12 months, the local kids have had very little face-to-face learning – interrupted by Covid, lots of families out of work, losing a year of learning. Thai schools opened their doors again on 17th May 2022, the start of the new school year.
We commit to start with a spend of 200,000 THB to assist 100 local kids into school in the first semester of 2022 – through the supply of school uniforms, tuition fees and learning resources.
Did you know it costs around 1,000-3,000 THB per child for a set of school uniforms and shoes – which many families struggle to pay for. And kids can only attend the local government schools if they wear uniforms.
